** Lee University ** * This position is for an experience hands on catering manager who will manage all events on and off campus. Candidate will also be the lead person for developing summer camp and conference protocols and serve as lead contact for the client on campus with summer business. This position reports directly to the General Manager * NOT A CATERING SALES OR CATERING CULINARY POSITION * The ideal candidate will have: -- COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY HANDS ON CATERING MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE -- EXPERIENCE COSTING AND PRICING CATERING/CAMP/CONFERENCE MENUS, -- EXPERIENCE TRAINING AND LEADING A CATERING STAFF, - EXPERIENCE WITH LABOR CONTROL SYSTEMS, -- EXPERIENCE MANAGING MULTIPLE EVENTS

Requirements |
Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing. Basic Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 2 years of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.Position Posting Title: Catering Director
