Description

Sodexo is seeking a Catering Manager 2 for a campus food service account in Wilberforce, OH at Central State University. Seeking candidates with prior experience handling similar managed volume. Ideal candidate will have: experience with catering, event planning software and strong computer skills. High energy candidate must possess good communication, organizational skills and client relations. Event planning experience a plus. Will have to work with multiple levels of staff, hourly and management. Must be energetic and people oriented. Will be expected to network on and off campus in order to build and maintain sales and increase account visibility.


Requirements

Manages all catered events. Hires, schedules, and trains catering staff. Works with clients/customers to arrange and follow through on all catering details and to ensure all special requests are met. Directs setup for events. Responsible for pricing, billing and resolving customer complaints. Develops menu/costing. Basic Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 1 year of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.Position Posting Title: Manager 2 - Catering
